I have always been active but in 2004 I made the commitment to a healthier diet and regular exercise and have never looked back.
For several years I had been taking Pilates, yoga and strengthening classes but found myself constantly searching for the perfect cardio component to my fitness routine. When I went to my first Zumba class I knew I found the one. I was hooked. Every class feels like a party and it is unlike any workout I have ever done. You go hard, you sweat, you wiggle, you giggle.
In addition to being Zumba licensed I am also certified in mat Pilates, YogaFit, Barre and Group Exercise and hold my CPR and AED certifications as well.
A few years ago I also developed a class that you can only get at Ignite Studio. FUSE is a class that combines yoga, strength training, core and leg exercises with the focus being on creating long and strong bodies. Each class ends with extended stretch and mediation using aromatherapy.
I love what I do! It is so important to me that a workout not feel like work. I mean really, fitness can be and should be fun and I will show you!
